Roof Replacement Nowra

Roof Replacement Shoalhaven - Tile and Metal

A restoration cleans, repairs and recoats a roof that is still structurally sound. A replacement is for the roof that is not. Concrete tiles that crumble underfoot, terracotta that has gone porous, metal sheeting rusted along the laps, or battens rotted under a long term leak cannot be fixed with a coating. We inspect first, and if your roof is in better shape than you feared we will say so and quote the smaller job instead.

What a re-roof includes

We replace tiled roofs with new tiles and metal roofs with new Colorbond, and we can take a tired tile roof across to Colorbond where that suits your home and your budget. A roof replacement with us covers:

• Stripping and removing the old roof
• Replacing damaged battens and sarking
• New tiles or new Colorbond sheeting in your chosen colour
• New ridge capping, valleys and flashings
• New gutters and downpipes where they are due

Every replacement is finished with new capping, valleys and flashings, so the whole roof starts its life together rather than a new surface sitting on old fittings.

How a roof replacement works

It starts with a free inspection, measure and quote. We walk the roof, check the timbers from inside the roof space where we can, and put the options in writing: what needs replacing, what can stay, the colours available and what it will cost. There is no sales representative in between. The person who inspects your roof is the person who replaces it. Once you are happy with the quote we book the job, work through the roof in stages so the house is kept covered as we go, and leave the site clean.
